Arti Walker-Peddakotla is running for Oak Park Village Trustee in 2019 and was in need of a visual identity for her political campaign. I originally pitched 3 different concepts, with this chosen direction being the boldest and brightest.

The logo plays on Arti’s strong first name and personality. She is running a different, exciting campaign on a racial equity-based platform and I wanted to capture this while also having a mark that was still identifiable as a political one. The print materials gain attention through the color palette and layout while quickly summarizing the campaign’s primary goals and values.
